kick the habit for your childrenDo you know that drug addiction can not only harm you but also those around you? When drug addicts refuse to deal with their addiction by going to a rehab or relapse even after undergoing the drug rehab program, their life and life of their loved ones is at stake. They lose precious relationships, peace of mind, their health, and completely lose control of their lives.

Everyone around the addict suffers because of their addiction –their children, spouse, siblings, parents and close relatives. It leads to verbal abuse, emotional disturbance, getting involved in criminal activities and a lot worse than one can ever imagine.

In a shocking incident outside of Austin Texas, three toddlers aged 1, 2, and 3 years had traces of meth. Meth is such a dangerous drug that it gets absorbed by a human body just by being in its proximity. Their father aged 29 later admitted that he was taking meth. The couple was arrested and was released on bail by paying $25000.

Due to the unhygienic conditions, the Child Protective Services did not let the children stay at home and transferred them to a foster care home. Earlier 2 of this couple’s children were tested for positive for marijuana at birth. This was because the mother was taking the drug while she was pregnant. One child, however, died because of asphyxiation.

This is just one of many deplorable cases of drug addiction and its consequences. So if anyone in your family or someone dear is suffering from drug addiction, encourage and inspire them to get help immediately.
